I've broken a side mirror while parking in a garage before. Yea, it's pretty costly. But at least no one gets hurt and it's not something you have to fix immediately.
for me, i was just plain embarrassed. nat said to me, "were you accelerating? because you really smashed parts of the wood on the garage". yes, my love, i did.
