taking it's toll

i'm sick. eww. :( it hit all of a sudden yesterday right before i was making dinner. my nose started running like a flood, i started sneezing like crazy, and i also felt really tired all of a sudden. on top of all of that, my taste buds were all off b/c of the cold which made tasting the food i was making that much more interesting. :P bleh. i hope that i get better soon, and i hope that i don't get any one else sick in our family (mainly sean).

being sick is one of the few times i wish i wasn't a mother just so i can sleep all day and night to recuperate. but God was so gracious to me last night. i don't know if sean knew i needed to sleep longer last night or what, but he woke up at 3:30 instead of 12 or 2 like he "normally"* does, giving me some extra hours of sleep.

nat told me that me being sick is maybe a sign i should slow down from all my busyness. :P

* i use this term loosely

ah! Christmas craziness

nat and i will be leaving for Christmas break next thursday, and i have a ton of things that i'd like to get done before i go! it's a little bit harder to run all these errands around a baby's nap schedule. :P here's my list i'd like to get done:

• finish Christmas shopping.
• clean the house.
• go to the to cleaners (one of nat's favorite shirts got ruined from dry cleaning).
• print out things for friend's wedding.
• plan 2 get-togethers with some friends.
• hang out with some friends during the day.
