beloveds

i had the privilege of babysitting beloved1 to beloved4 for fruittart and her husband yesterday. :) it was pretty fun. we had dinner, watched toy story 1 & 2, and got ready for bed (but not me, of course). they were all fabulous and did what i told them, so that was a huge blessing.

it was kinda cute b/c they all wanted to talk to me and tell me their own stories. it was kinda like that volvo commercial where a dad is taking his daughter home, and she's telling this long and random story where she just keeps going. :)

itsy bitsy spider

last night i woke up nat with some sleep talking/screaming. i was mostly asleep, and i thought i saw a spider with a big web on my pillow, so i started screaming "there's a spider! there's a spider! ahhhh!!". of course, it woke nat up, and it actually woke me up, and we both found my pillow without a spider. :)

today, we did find a spider around our fridge. it was quite huge (i thought it was like a cricket or something). coincidence. i think not. :)

life as a housewife.... checkup

alright, let's see how many things i actually got done (it's been about 2 months):

cleaning and organizing . semi-done. study, living room, kitchen done with organizing. 2 other bedrooms need to be organized and cleaned.

decorating our house. semi-done. put some pictures up. ;)

invite someone over after church for lunch. we've had the johnson's over, but we want to have this about every other week.

young couples night at our house from our church. done.

continuing the open house tradition that we had last semester. not done at all. :(

now, i'm adding to the list: find a job. hopefully by early next year i'll have a job! :)
